The launch of official Finnish entertainment library: The Detectives film series

C More launched the official Finnish entertainment library in February 2017. The cornerstone of the launch was the use of the traditional Finland-Sweden set-up by focusing on the Finnish and Swedish detective duo Virtanen and Svensson in this darkish Scandic Noir film series.

Together with director Dome Karukoski and designer Tommy Mäkinen from Folk Finland, this high-quality production was built in Helsinki in co-operation with the finest filmmakers in Finland. At the moment the detectives are sorting through endless top movies and series in their secret research unit - a seemingly endless task.

The C More Detectives film series that was created together with Valve and advertising agency Folk Finland, was awarded in March 2018 with the Grand Prix of annual Finnish commercial film awards, Voitto-mainoselokuvakilpailu.

The assignment

Detectives Svensson and Virtanen get their assignment and meet for the first time.

At the harbour

Detectives Svensson and Virtanen follow a lead to the harbour and make a shocking discovery.
