Turkish Creative agency ÖYKÜ emerged triumphant in this year’s hotly contested Dialogue International Creativity Awards. The Turkish agency won the gold prize with its KA-DER campaign, promoting the inclusion of women in Turkish politics.
The Creativity Awards required member agencies to send a two-minute video to a panel of five international creative directors from various international agencies, detailing their best creative projects. Five out of 23 submissions were shortlisted, from which the three winners were chosen.
The winning campaign by Turkish agency ÖYKÜ addressed key issues surrounding the lack of women in politics and business in Turkey. The campaign, featuring several celebrity spokeswomen as ambassadors, achieved extensive international media coverage through a viral social media campaign, impactful outdoor advertising, and direct email marketing to women’s rights groups and associations. As a direct result of the campaign, the number of female MPs in Turkey rose from 48 to 98.

Hot on their heels was Slovakian agency JandL, which took the Silver award with a campaign promoting the charity services of its client Plameniok, which provides vital end of life services for terminally ill children and their families.
Winning Bronze was French agency Grenade&Sparks for its Kindy Show Set campaign; a highly entertaining mini-series of ten episodes, in which the socks – designed by French brand Kindy – were the stars of the show. The agency, which boasts a team of 70, specialises in advertising, brand content development, and social media and community management.

Impressive collaborations and achievements involving several agencies have resulted in exciting campaigns for global brands like EasyJet, MasterCard and Vodafone. Those partnerships were once again recognised by the official Creativity Awards ceremony at this year’s forum.
