Paris, November 20, 2017 – Miguel Pereira, the executive president and co-founder of
Darwin Social Noise, has been appointed as new president of Dialogue International during the network’s Annual Forum in Paris on November 16-19. Pereira’s appointment will last for two years, and he is replacing Frédéric Faivre, managing partner of the French agency Grenade & Sparks.
“I’m very excited to take on this role for the next two years. The network model of independent agencies allows us to compete with the best of both worlds; with the widespread international presence paired with local execution, and at the same time, with the agility and personalised service of independent agencies “, Miguel Pereira states. “Our goal for the future is to grow geographically in strategic markets, and to do so with our creative agencies with high digital capabilities.”
Perrera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has a wide experience in the role of marketing director in the media & news industry, including El País, The Miami Herald and La Opinión (Tribune Company). Since June 2017, he has covered the role of President and Co-Founder of Darwin Social Noise, the agency created from the union of Darwin & Co, one of the leading independent agencies in the Spanish market, and Social Noise, the number one ranked digital agency in Spain by reputation and appeal he co-created.
“On behalf of The Dialogue International network, I’d like to congratulate Miguel Pereira on his new appointment as President and take this opportunity to look forward in working closely and strengthen the international cooperation between the member agencies even further”, Alp Cemercioz, the COO of 77Agency, part of the network, commented.
